Viking Beds initierade samarbetet med Tärnsjö Garveri i syfte att utmana vårt eget hantverkskunnande och samtidigt hedra en anrik svensk tradition av företag med lokal förankring och stort kunnande. Tärnsjö Garveri levererar sitt läder till flera skandinaviska möbeltillverkare med högt anseende vilket gjorde oss nyfikna på hur Viking Beds skulle kunna hitta ett sätt att inkorporera lädret tillsammans med vår nya toppmodell Adelsö Kontinental. Svaret blev en unik säng med en exklusiv bård i vegetabiliskt mörkbrunt läder på sängens bottnar och helt läderklädda sängben.

Bården i läder sys på bolstret i Viking Beds fabrik i småländska Ekenässjön medan benen kläs in i läder av skickliga hantverkare hos Tärnsjö Garveri. Även huvudgaveln har samma bård på
the short sides in order to get a uniform expression along the entire long sides. In addition to the unique details in leather, the bed is covered in a furniture fabric in 100% durable linen with a solid texture in order to match the bed's other attributes. Even the headboard and headboard cushions are covered in the same furniture fabric to create a uniform piece of furniture. Tärnsjö Edition is manufactured in 99 numbered copies, which is made clear by a unique marking of each bed.

The spring mattress has latex padding on the lying surface, which makes the bed feel extra luxurious. The double knitting gives the bed an extra lift and that little something extra for those who have an eye for detail.
