We proudly present our new concept range Simplicity – a design collaboration with interior designer Pella Hedeby. Together we have created a unique collection for anyone who dreams of a bedroom that combines Scandinavian design with high demands on sustainability. A well-thought-out overall concept that makes it easy to create a harmonious and stylish bedroom.
Simplicity collection can be applied to all beds in Viking's standard collection and the entire fabric collection is available for the concept.
Simplicity collection – the collaboration
For over 20 years, Viking Beds has developed into one of Sweden's leading bed brands with local production in the small community of Ekenässjön, in the middle of the Småland Furniture Kingdom. With a focus on quality, sustainability and a price tag that makes the beds accessible to many on the market, Viking Beds is synonymous with genuine craftsmanship and production, often in-house or in the local area. Ergonomic and comfortable beds have become the company's hallmark, where every detail reflects their passion for the Swedish furniture heritage.
One ambition at Viking Beds is to now raise the design level of the brand and the beds the company produces, as well as to broaden the range of bedroom furniture. The vision is to give customers the opportunity to have their entire bedroom decorated, without having to put everything together on their own, and spend free weekends in furniture and interior design stores.

Pella Hedeby's interior design style and design speak for themselves, and she is today considered one of Sweden's best in her field.

Viking Beds will realize Pella Hedeby's vision by producing beds, bed legs, headboards and other accessories that are imbued with her design. In addition to elevating design and aesthetics, this project is an opportunity for Viking Beds to drive the development towards even more sustainable furniture and explore innovative material choices that can set a new standard in the bed industry.

Simplicity bed leg
Simplicity bed legs are designed in collaboration with interior designer Pella Hedeby and give the bed a floating feel. These bed legs are black and 6 cm high, which makes the bed look lighter and creates an elegant impression. The bed legs are mounted on a brace on the underside of the bed frame, making installation easy and stable. They are compatible with bed frames that have a width of 80, 90 or 105 cm, making them versatile and suitable for different bed sizes.

Simplicity headboard
SThe headboard has a modern and stylish Scandinavian design that exudes timeless elegance. It is equipped with a discreet but beautiful seam along the edge and in the middle there is an extra detail in the form of a decorative double stitch, which harmonizes with the stitching of the bed.
Each headboard is handmade and, just like the beds from Viking Beds, covered in durable textiles of the highest quality. The headboards can be placed on the included furniture feet or on the adjustable headboard legs (heights 6, 12 or 18 cm). In case of stains, foam cleaning is recommended to preserve the quality and appearance of the textile over time.
